The
Electron Microscope Facility, AIIMS New Delhi,
is organizing a
two-day Research Facility Training Program on
Cryo Plasma FIB-SEM
on 18–19 September 2026.
This specialized training program is designed for
Research Students, Ph.D. Scholars and Postdoctoral
Researchers interested in advanced electron microscopy,
cryogenic sample preparation, 3D volume imaging and
ultrastructural characterization of biological specimens.
The program combines
lectures and hands-on training,
providing participants with practical exposure to
advanced FIB-SEM workflows, cryo sample preparation,
3D volume microscopy, correlative imaging and
image processing.
Participants will gain exposure to the facility's
Cryo multi-Plasma integrated fluorescence
Focused Ion Beam–Scanning Electron Microscope
(FIB-SEM), enabling advanced workflows for
cryo-electron microscopy, correlative imaging and
high-resolution 3D ultrastructural analysis.
